Scott Kittell
Born: July 6, 1957 in Minot.
High School: Graduated from Minot High School, 1975.
College: Attended Minot State, Graduated from Brown Institute in Minneapolis, 1977.
Kittell spent his entire broadcasting career, spanning more than 45 years, at radio and television stations in Minot. He began his career while still in high school working part time at KXMC-TV and KCJB radio. He became a full-time broadcaster in 1976, retiring in 2024. Kittell was the broadcast voice of Minot State University athletics for approximately 20 years, with a highlight of broadcasting Minot State games at four national basketball tournaments. Kittell was behind the mic for thousands of games. Another highlight for him was calling the three-peat of Minot High boys basketball Class A championships in 2015-17. Kittell has been inducted into the Minot Baseball Hall of Fame and the Minot High School Hall of Fame.
