Born: November 14, 1966 in Minot.
High School: Graduated from Williston High School, 1985.
College: Graduated from UND-Williston, 1987; Attended North Dakota State University.

Michaels (real name Todd Clark) started his radio career in 1988 at KEYZ in Williston. His first basketball play-by-play game was in the 1988 state tournament. He followed Williston with stops at radio stations in the Fargo-Moorhead and Bismarck-Mandan areas. He has been play-by-play announcer for the F-M Redhawks baseball team, the F-M Fever, Dakota Wizards and F-M Beez pro basketball teams, and college teams at North Dakota State, Moorhead State, University of Mary and University of North Dakota. He was named North Dakota Sportscaster of the Year in 2018. Michaels was an outstanding athlete. At UND-Williston, he played basketball and baseball and was named to the Tetons' all-decade baseball team of the 1980s. He played one season of baseball at NDSU, where the lefty-hitting first baseman batted .295 and paced the Bison in doubles (nine) and RBI (28).
